MATERIALS: — leaflets;
— advertisements;
— a map of Kilkenny.
ACTIVITY 1
READING. The students read the leaflet about Kilkenny Arts Festival and find the answers to the questions.
ACTIVITY 2A
READING THE MAP. The students read the list of accommodations and find them on the map (Camping site, Hotel Kilkenny, Country House).
ACTIVITY 2B
ROLEPLAY. The students work in pairs. The teacher provides them with cards with
the necessary information. The students act out the dialogues in front of the class.
ACTIVITY 3
The students read an advertisement and write a letter to the Holiday Agency to get
some additional information. The form of the letter is presented below:

Dear Sir or Madam,
Referring to your advertisement published in… I write to have more information.
