Thougths about the past and future…

Where is the humanity going? When I think about it, I feel sudden, but quite explainable fear of the unknown.

Overpopulated cities, grey dull buildings, dusty asphalt, poor greenery, constant crowds of cars, hundreds of plants and factories, which pollute atmosphere and soil, poison water and every living creature, around us. People became more reserved and cold, we have nearly forgot how to love and lost belief in God: church looks strange and ridiculous among modern buildings , howling of crowd and cars muffles ringing sound of bells. We are losing all moral values: kindness, family, love, self-confidence and self-respect. Tempo of our life is increasing, we have no heart-to-heart talks with our friends and never write letters.

I think it’s time to remember how simple and wise our ancestors lived. Having no written language, they lived much more wise than we now. They grew weet, brought up children, lived in harmony with nature, worshipped God. They had no envy and anger, were sound in heart and soul.

Perhaps, it was the real Golden Age? But now we can hardly believe it. Struggle for survival, endless wars between peoples, terrible, cruel customs. But still their experience deserves our attention.

Settlement Arkaim was discovered by archaeologists several years ago not far from Chelyabinsk, and now it’s considered one of the most valuable archaeological treasure of last decades.

Arkaim… A small fortress in the valley of the Arkaim-river… XVI-XVII B. C. One-storeyed low pise and wooden houses, small square for assemblies, herds of horses in steppe…

May be it was more than mere closeness to nature? Our ancestors deeply felt harmony of universe and their connection with it. May be that is why wooden fences and stony walls represented an exact copy of Solar System. I think that it’s not just a coincidence. This fact, demonstrates rational thinking of builders of the town. Rationalism of arcitecture also astonishing: enter to the town is a unique and complex labyrinth, if} you don’t know its secret, it’s impossible to get inside. Town has a great, amount of copper-smelting and potter’s workshops.

The life of our ancestors was amazing. They lived in accordance with laws of the universe, they had peace in their souls, the thing which we have not enough now.

But what made the tribes, lived on prolific earth, rich in wildfowl, to leave flowering towns and to go to the west? Sudden starvation, attack of the Normans, religious reasons? We can’t know it, but this civilization in spite of its right, and wise organization disappeared.

May be, it’ll make us understand the danger of cold-heartedness, which is frightening us, it. will make us start thinking about our way, where are we going to, what is the destiny of our civilization?
